I will be hosting a "Your Guide to Menopause" talk at the Branford Blackstone Library Thursday, Dec 18. Click here for event details >>
Jill is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with an extensive background including: Gynecology, Prenatal / Postpartum Care, Infertility / Reproductive Endocrinology, Primary Care and Internal Medicine. This provides a deeper understanding of all aspects that can affect women’s health as they move through the stages of menopause. She is dedicated to helping women feel like themselves again as they proceed along their journey.
She earned a Master of Nursing degree from the University of Washington - Adult and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Connecticut. This rigorous training formed the foundation of her expertise in midlife wellness and sexual health. As a former clinical faculty member of the UW Nurse Practitioner program and a former sub-investigator of multiple women’s health clinical trials, her passion for menopause care was cultivated.
Jill founded DMH after seeing women with menopause symptoms dismissed, given vague advice or sub-therapeutic care. She believes that women should not have to “tough out” their symptoms or continue therapy that is not working. Once therapy is initiated, it should be followed closely and adjusted accordingly. Women deserve a menopause specialist who can appropriately guide care. At DMH, she provides personalized care, customizing a plan to meet your lifestyle and goals - all grounded in evidence.
Her mission is to help women navigate perimenopause and menopause with confidence, clarity, and wellness. Jill provides the time to listen and the attention to detail needed for hormone optimization, creating a customized plan for each individual.
Her motto is: “Menopause is the beginning of a new chapter - Let’s Rebalance, Rediscover & Empower the New You!”
Your customized care plan may include a combination of the following evidence-based treatments:
